100 to 240 VAC 50 to 60 Hz covers power "normal power" in just about all of the world including Spain. Have you tried using this hub to recharge your phone? You might find that it charges rather slowly or not at all from a device that is deisgned primarily to be a hub, not a charger.
I started with a shampoo bar, but the plastic soap holder I got was water-tight and before long I had a plastic box of soapy goo. It went in the trash when I bought a small bottle of liquid shampoo and used it for everything.
I mostly sloshed things in the sink for a couple of minutes. Then...
Keen Newport for me, the leather one, with socks. Worked very well for me on Chemin du Puy this year. The socks get rather dirty. There is definite risk to picking footwear so close to your start. Its very much an individual choice, advice here may be useless to you, including this one. :)
lots of suggestions here. I walked in France, not Spain, so allow for some regional difference. Just a few thoughts.
the 50l pack is too big, and can you really fit a waist pack while wearing the backpack? for that matter why the waist pack?
two different shoes for the walk is a lot, but...
I have a few merino shirts of various weights and sleeve lengths. Most of them are an Australian brand called merino skins sold in the US by Rivendell Bicycles www.rivbike.com. They are not extra light and seems to last a long time.
I'm not a SS user, but I am a photographer. Your friends and family have a pretty good idea what you look like, share some photos that relate something about your experience. Try to tell a story, maybe including a brief caption. Occasionally ask someone you trust to take your photo with your...
I'm planning on walking with a REI Trail 40 pack. Trial packing shows that it won't be stuffed full. But I'm walking Le Puy so will need to carry some food. I'm 183 cm, 95 kg.
I am using heavy duty self adhesive velcro tape. Doing Le Puy this year. Hook side on the patches. I'm fairly certain this is not the best way to do it, but it might be adequate.
I've been wearing merino stuff for about 15 years or so. It goes in the wash. Sometimes in the dryer, I try not to do the dryer, but don't fret if it happens. Smartwool, icebreaker, some Aussie brand sold by Rivendell bicycles in the US.
I bought a couple of different pairs a year or two ago. I'm happiest with the trail midweight mini crew.
I'm male, 63, ~215 lb, and mostly wearing them with Chaco Z sandals.
Your experience will almost certainly vary. :)
