Prevent Blisters on Camino
Of course everyone has their own system…but mine was: *start with really well-fitting boots and good, cushioned merino wool socks *walk slowly and take frequent breaks (also good for those who complain about being bored after arriving at the albergue at noon…and you can enjoy the scenery more)...- LoWo

Cautionary tale of the importance of travel insurance!
Just bought some insurance due to this post. Still hoping and optimistic I’ll not have to use it, but it’s worth a few bucks for the small chance something very bad could happen. As someone from the US, the medical and travel costs would be astronomical- LoWo
