When I walk out from oviedo to start my primitivo, do I need to have anything booked? I'm hoping the idea is that I can walk until evening or my legs allow and then find an albergue. I take it they will be signposted from the way.

Thanks Laurie. I'm hoping to go from Oviedo so I'll be avoiding the Salvador section this time. I think Oviedo to Santiago will be enough for a first visit.
There seems to be a lot of planning involved in getting to the start point though.
I thought with a country the size of Spain it would be easier to get to Oviedo. I'm checking through my national airline options and it looks like I'm flying into Madrid. I see its a five hour approx bus or train to Oviedo. Is this really the only option. I flying from Ireland.
