Agree! We stayed in a private room with our own bath and they are clean, modern, and a nice break from the bunk room.

Just finished it two weeks ago. Beautiful Camino, the scenery and peace. Knowing Spanish or using the translator also helps.😀

Camino Primitivo end of December

I just finished the Primitivo and I'd check and possibly make your bookings in advance instead of relying on "hope" as even in season there aren't a lot of albergue options in some places. As well on the terrain, it's rocky with steep climbs so boots and poles are a must. There might be some...

Agree, am walking it now and places list closed at end of October and the accommodations and food are already slim pickings.

Help me slow down my Camino Primitivo

If you haven't left yet you or you want to backtrack before you get to far youcould have started in Villaviciosa and that would have added days before Oviedo.
