Once you have got your first (or second stamp) from the church (depends if you get a stamp from friends of Camino Madrid) the camino passes through Plaza de Sol, lots of accommodation nearby. Enjoy the walk
There is an association of the Madrid Camino. Not sure if it’s opening times, but office centrally located. I used the guide by Johnny Walker, you can get that from the Co frat of St James London. Google it. It came quickly to Australia. Good luck

Easy walk well signposted. CSJ London has a simple but adequate guide. Camino office in Madrid has up to date sheets on accommodation and facilities. Some of the facilities are off the Camino in slightly large towns but these diversions were way marked in and out to hook up with Camino. Hostels...
