Charlesx, I suppose I hadn't thought of leaving my backpack in terms of claiming my bed. I was thinking more along the lines of avoiding robbery. Hello All! I was just wondering (perhaps naïvely) if it was safe to leave your backpacks on your bed in the albergues in the evening.
