Also add, Refugio Fenix at Villafranca. We had a very restoring communal meal there and breakfast. A very warm welcome. But, don't expect hot showers from solar heated water on a miserable rainy day! Needed the hot food to warm up.

35 walking days and a day off in Leon. In retrospect it would have been better to have had more rest days. I think my feet would have thanked me for that. We had intended to have more, but Santiago and our new friends pulled us onward!

Thank you Tia, but do you have a double liner? And are the double beds a decent width? I will be walking with my husband and wondered if the double beds might be too narrow for both of us to be comfortable when we're very tired. If you choose to use them, I guess they're ok
