    Well, I specifically worded my question to clarify that and was informed it was acceptable. What is the difference between walking 1oo km TO Santiago from Fisterra via Muxía, and walking 100 km TO Santiago from Sarria, as long as it ends at the Cathedral?

    Any 100 km will do. I clarified that quite some time ago when I first ran across comments about Sarria onward. One could start at Santiago de Compostela, walk to Fisterra and then to Muxía [or reverse order] and back to the Cathedral and you would qualify for a Compostela. Perhaps the answer...

    Here in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, temperatures at this time of year "normally" vary from the high teens to the low 30s C. Yesterday was sub-zero C. Very rare but not unknown. Requiescat in pace, peregrinos.

    I've seen a number of people post in the Forum here that they have simply taken a picture of each page of the guide with their cell phone ... then it is there with no additional weight, and you can zoom in :) You do Brierley a disservice by criticizing him while using an out-of-date guide...

She did not post any pictures that day, nor did she mention snow, and I'm sure she would have done so ... though the photo she took in SJPdP...
