    Saint-Jacques La Mecque

There are some on eBay but you would have to contact the seller about subtitles: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=saint+jacques+la+mecque&_sacat=0 Very good movie BTW. It's how I learned about Camino(s) de Santiago. And never regret it :)

Gareth from Dublin on Camino yesterday.

    The village is Cirauqui :)

Bar or restaurant in Riego de Ambrós

Why not ask someone from the village? Another bar or hospitalero or even someone in El Acebo? Someone would surely know if you attach the photo.

    We Walk For You 2020

The blog post is of today: https://prnt.sc/u0he1j But this announcement was posted on June 7th: https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/we-walk-for-you-2020.67798/ Maybe mods can combine them and make just one.

Night walking on Meseta any suggestions for Gareth on Camino at moment

Suggestions about night walking on Meseta? Night walking? Are you serious? Don't do it, it's a sacrilege! :) BUT sitting somewhere in the middle of "nothing" in the middle of the night with a nice cold 6-pack of beer or a bottle of Rioja and just soaking up the "xwyz"..., well, that's something...

    How Green was the Meseta?

I stopped at Albergue la Torre in Arcahueja for a beer stop twice in high season and both times I was the only customer. That's why I like it :D I have to disappoint you on Gaudi because he has nothing with Astorga cathedral but he designed former bishop's palace across the street though ;)...

    Publicly humiliated for snoring

I would say that the snoring sounds are produced when inhaling not exhaling. But then again I wouldn't really know for sure because I sleep when I snore ;)

crucero del santo cristo in molinaseca

I also think that the photo in post #21 proves that the cruceiro wasn't relocated (at least from the time the photo was taken to nowadays) compared to photos in posts #2 and #13.

crucero del santo cristo in molinaseca

The roadworks (pavement) were already clearly seen in your first post. Nothing unusual in time span of 100, 50 or even 20 years :)

crucero del santo cristo in molinaseca

I don't think so. The street is on the left of cruceiro on the first photo and on the right side on the second one and that is misleading. If you look at the houses on the left first two are exactly the same as they were but the first house on the righthand side clearly got another floor. And...

Or maybe the guards simply forgot to escort you out in the time of midday closure :D

A Roman Camino (Tadarjos-Carrion de los Condes)

Mountain splendor from Ponferrada or El Acebo

I think I might try that. Once I'll finally get myself to walk Estrecho & Augusta & Plata (official, to Astorga) & some Frances and then from much loved El Acebo to Peňalba and onto Invierno again. But I think some will be faster than me and very soon :)

Mountain splendor from Ponferrada or El Acebo

Totally appropriate for me. I even wouldn't have to change the name of the place because my family name is Mašera (engl.pron. "Mashera") which is close enough :D

    Winter Camino Frances?

I think the experience of walking the CF right now would be quite similar to winter Camino in previous years re solitude ;) Buen Camino!

Where is this on the Camino?

Well, Rick, should I ask Peg who's Caterina then??? ;)

Where is this on the Camino?

Santa Cat AL ina, Rick :)

Where is this on the Camino?

Nope, definitely not the one. Compare photos in posts no.1 & 4 with yours, especially the bell tower. Also I don't remember any pedestrian street crossing in Sta.Catalina on the main drag where the church is situated :)

Should I try to find you?

Many times I thought I just met my second wife on Camino(s). The only problem always was that I haven't been married yet. Not even once... ;)

Where is this on the Camino?

It's the view from the entrance (on Camino Frances) to Sta.Catalina de Somoza. Short walk from Astorga.
