yes, i would say so.i have stayed there a couple of times and found it busy, but very clean and comfy bunks are sectioned off in groups of 2 bunks which was nice.also good kitchen up stairs.and its just round the corner from from the lively bars and streets,
please do report back,i am heading out the 2nd week of june and dont want to book ahead if i can avoid it, only going for a short time and prob will start in pampalona this time,so look forward to seeing how you find things, have a great time,
thank you for the very positive attitude,i for one always prefer to go with a rough idea of where we may sleep and would rather not book ahead,am heading out the 2nd week in june and hope to just play it by ear,but semi confidant as i am that all will be well it was still great to hear your...
oh yes i fully agree, i did often take the time to stop and look back, not only does it give you a different and wonderful view but also it can be very motivating to see how far you have travelled, you can say to yourself wow i did that :)great advice from you john,
i agree, it is tough but go SLOW,watch where you put your feet as lots of loose rock, but you will feel like a super star when you get to safe ground again:)

excellent and good advice from alexwalker , this walk brings out the very best in people i doubt if you you walk with an open mind and smile that you will be alone for long,,delighted you have booked you will love it an your family will all want to go next year when they hear all your fab tales..

i agree that the most exciting thing was wondering what our beds would be like each day ,and knowing that if we wanted to go a little further or stop a little sooner we could!we never had a prob finding a bed, even in pretty busy times, loved the freedom.
as the others have said as this advice is not coming from a doc then i would say GO FOR IT ,,its a wonderful experience that you can tailor to suit your needs and fitness , you will surprise yourself.when i said i was going people laughed n said i would stop in the first nice bar and sit it out...

oh one day , maybe at the end of the camino i will have more than a couple of euros to spend on a treat luxury night :)..to be honest even a quite room with just two in a very average room was cool ..but i will dream on ..the feel of a real bed ,real pillows and shower/bath without a que must be...
