    As others have stated,yes you can , and I always write the names ahead of time on a paper so the spelling of the names is correct. They do a beautiful job doing this on the Compostelas

    I had a wonderful experience in the church in Grañon albergue in May of 2012 with Tom , I took the training thru APOC in 2013 and volunteered in the pilgrim office last year. He was from Canada. It is a great experience to give back! Buen Camino

    The restoration continues inside and outside for another 4 years and there is A LOT of scaffolds. I am glad I was there before they started, during and hopefully see it completed.

    Where the heck are all the buses HELP please!

    If you are in Villafranca de Montes de Oca , and stay at San Anton Abad, early am ,the bus goes from the bus stop to the right of the hotel/alburgue, to Burgos. Then go to Santiago from Burgos. I took that bus in May of '12.

    Starting in Pamplona

    I loved starting in Pamplona May of 2012! Visited again last October 2013. It is great to start there slowly and take your time to get to Santiago. You can always walk over the Pyrennes another time on another Camino. There are no rules on where to start!

    I arrived safely in negreira last eve after a very long tough walk UP that hill! There is a wonderful greeting stand as you walk in and handouts of all new and up to date info. Stop here when you get in. Buen camino

    Happy Easter! I start walking from Pamplona in the morning of May 3, so I may meet you on the Camino. I have my patch on my bag with another patch of a walking sock monkey. I walk very "Relaxed" so I may see you! Buen Camino.
