My hubby and I walked from Valenca to Santiago. We stayed at municipal albergues in Porriño, Redondela and Briallos. In Caldas de Reis we stayed in a hotel and did spa pool in thermal waters. ... highly recommend! We stayed at a lovely pension in Areal called A Milagrosa...lovely. You can check...- mariposa627

Hello! My husband and I just travelled from Porto by bus to Valença to begin our camino there on June 25th. Itisabout a 2.5 hour ride from Porto .. we rode on the Rede bus . It was an enjoyable ride.
