Hi Bridget, (same name as my mums, good Irish name). it would be nice to see you along the way. Like you I'm on a strict budget, me having to renew my passport has done my head right in. My advice is to look in charity shops for a good rucksack. I bought a quechua giettaz 50l out of a charity...

I'll be leaving London on 29th Mayfrom SJPP to Santiago. I'll be walking for charity. Ill be opening a JUST GIVING page in memory of my husband who passed away from throat cancer last year. I'll be walking on £52 a week so it will be a real challenge. I can't wait now. Buen Camino :)

I will be leaving on the 29th of May hopefully, as I dug out my passport I noticed that the photo page seems water damaged so I'm going to have to post that out 1st. Its a real pain. Still have 4 years on it. I'll be walking my Camino for a cancer charity called the Throat Charity Foundation UK...
