Starting my Camino on May 12th

Finally going :) need advice
Hi Mati, Do some research on the internet ie chambre d'hotes book say the first few days before setting off. Then by calling at Office de Tourism they will phone ahead, but try and feep 3-4 day rolling reservations. Then you can walk all day with peace of mind. Beware this system will...- weekjchammings

Hello Jacobus, Eunate Church open or not is well worth a visit, you might consider stopping the night at Cizor Menor instead of Pamplona. Reserve a place there and still spend plenty of time in Pamplona. Next day visit Eunate and continue on to Puente la Reina, plenty of time.- weekjchammings

Hi Trafalgar, As you can see by my pathetic attempt of a beard after 82 days walking from Wales to Santiago I don't shave. Its one of lives little luxuries I love. Besides if I was to return home tanned & clean shaven my mates would think I'd been on the Spanish beach, not the Camino. Very good...- weekjchammings

Many thanks for that although I sometimes I think I hear " silly old sod " from other forum users. After I had returned home last year I received several E-mails from friends, and the common thread from the Camino youth was the word inspiration. Camino Frances, End of May vs September?
Hello, Are you biking or hiking ? If you are biking you can carry a light weight sleeping bag, however if hiking a silk liner was sufficient for me April / May & June 2013 plus the odd Albergue blanket. But I appreciate there are some cold souls out there. Have fun.- weekjchammings

Hello Mudcrone, I assume that they mean by Easter traffic the various religious festivals that take place at Easter. Although well worth seeing sometimes accommodation can be a little limited.
