Toes socks
I like toe socks myself and they do seem to help with the seemingly inevitable blister problems. But, interestingly, I’ve walked a couple of Caminos with an older Swiss friend who swears that the Swiss way is NOT to change your socks at all, just let them dry out! To take a sleeping bag or not?
I froze in the albergue last night just before Portomarin and there was snow coming down from O Cebreiro a couple of days ago. I have a silk and fleece liner but so regret not bringing my lightweight sleeping bag. And that was me sleeping in clothes and with my poncho on top! It ruins sleep...- Katycamino

That's a great idea! I went totally against the grain on last years camino and started tearing out pages as I went along to save weight. Smart Packing and Unexpected Backpack Items
Hi there. I too am a big fan of the Lush shampoo products in a bar. On my camino this year I did take the small round tin. All you need to do is wrap the bar in a little bit of clingfilm and it will stop it sticking to the tin. Just rewrap after each use. Worked for me!- Katycamino
