    Looking for backpack accessory pouch

I feel a bit of cheapskate looking at all these bags etc as I use a zipped freezer bag attached with a nappy pin to keep the things i need throughout the day and it hangs on the left of my rucksack. I may pop down to camping shop later as I don't want to look like an unprofessional pilgrim.:(

Do I need a phone? What's your experience?

I've decided against taking a phone when I leave next week, I have a fear that I will spend all my time looking for wi-fi hotspots/texting and wanting to surf the net and not just relaxing, re-affirming my faith and just getting away from it all, I have said I will contact home every 4 days...

    Sleeping bag alternative ?

I also can't sleep a sleeping bag, I bought last year a butterball bag which I find much better as i'm a bit of wriggler and sleep with my right leg straight and my left leg pulled up to my chest(strange I know but if I slept on my back my snoring would annoy a few people) and also I a bit feel...
