Looking at it, I am not convinced the combined solar battery units are sufficient for today's power hungry devices. There are some quite nice larger solar panels with USB outputs which would be sufficient though I am not sure how good on cloudy days, or you can get a 50000 mAh battery with 2 USB...- cinimod

Hi Aimee, (@awakeningaimee ) I think in the video I posted it talks about that and says that the Macabi is good in weathers, I can certainly see if you put in the central strap and wear them as 'pants' or trousers, couple them with a pair of leggings and you should be good in cold temperatures...- cinimod

This is all very interesting, and you have persuaded my wife and I to take the plunge and get them, but are they only available in the US, and only from their website? $77 USD each + postage + UK Import fees make these quite expensive... any idea if you can get them in the UK? Many thanks- cinimod
