Nope there is a lot of Rural walking, you have both Options. The Route from Lugo to Friol following the green arrows was one of the must stunning walks I ever took, esp the First 9km.
Here is the wikilock of the walk.

Also Friol is a great...
I walked the primitivo and found a great group of 7 people all solo walkers.. Any camino you do you will find people.
Sarria Is very commercial, if you have the time and want to meet people then start a little further say leon or oviedo, porto etc..
it takes a day or two to get to know people
Yes the route is short of Beds. Esp when you arrive to a small town like Berducedo and everything is full except one place that costs 4o euros. We learned to book a day before and this took the pressure off.
The problem with public Albergue is that sometimes you have to race to get a space, and I honestly could not be bothered. Since we were 7 we book private albergue or hotels a day in advance and the max we paid was 15 euros. We didn't book in Sobrado because they said they don't take bookings...
Suggestion. I stayed in the spectacular Tineo Palacios Meras hostel, probably one of the best hostels. Saturday morning the weather was spectacular, I was going to walk to Borres and stay there, but took at taxi from Tineo to Borres and did the Hospitales route. It was spectacular. It's a...
arrived to Berducedo today after doing the hospitals route. The place was all full booked out. Lots of walkers so book in advance (just call a day before )
From what every says the Oviedo to Grandes de salime is a beautiful walk. having done the camino twice I would suggest you walk the first 8 days from Oviedo and then take a bus from wherever you arrive to. The last 30km into Santiago are not particularly inspiring. all depends what you want...

As long a you have a buggy, not a chance a 3yo will walk it.
I once bought a cycle huck on cabin for my bike so I could bring my son on cycles. He hated it and cried all the time. They get tired and want attention ..
The camino is not the place for small kids, unless you have lots of...
I've been following some FB posts and I've seen a lot of rain/snowy days. Galicia and Asturias are like ireland for a reason, they get quite a lot of Rain,
Hi, I am walking in June and from what I Gather it could be cold at night and in the Morning. 4 years ago I walked from Astorga to SDC in June and I had all sorts of weather, from mid 30's to low teens, with Rain.
I did the Portuguese route early Sept and was unlucky to have a week of rain...
Asturias and Galicia are not the warmest places. I was happy to have my fleece and raincoat at times. I don't think you need a jacket, but a raincoat and layers might come in handy, esp a fleece.
