Hi,
I plan to wald the Chemin d'Arles in March/April from Toulouse to Oloron St. Marie.
On of the Gronze stages is L'Isle-Arné but there is no accomodation listed.
Would anyone know a gite in this area or could check in Miam Miam Dodo if something is mentioned there?
Thanks a lot!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
It gets a bit difficult round there. There used to be a gite at Lamothe just north of L'Isle-Arné but when I was walking in June last year it had closed. You can stay at Le Grange (e acute) just before Giscaro, other people really liked it. I'm afraid my solution was to stay at L'Isle-Jourdain, then walk to Gimont and get a train direct to Auch.

We will also start from Toulouse, in April. I haven't been able to find any accommodation in that area either. I have a six years old dodo (?) St Jacques GR653 / GR101 guide, and the only place it mentions is the now closed gite.

Before we start I shall visit the pilgrim reception at Basilique Saint-Sernin, to see if they know of any. But we are likely to also to take the train from Gimont to Auch.

That is too bad about the train from Gimont to Auch as the Chemin from Gimont to Montegut is really beautiful.

Let me call the Office du Tourisme in L’Isle Jourdain and ask them for lodgings from there on the Chemin. Hopefully they have a pdf list that I can leave you with. L’Isle Jourdain is just up the road…
I just received a PDF file from the Tourist Office in L’Isle Jourdain, 2023 edition. They are working on the 2024 edition that should be out shortly.
