Time of past OR future Camino

My husband and I are planning to walk Haervejen (the Ancient Road) in Denmark next summer. We have focused on this because my husband's family is originally from Denmark and we thought this might be a nice way to sink into some Danish history.

I have lots of questions about this route. I have the app, maps and printed guide. For starters my question is about the hostels. It looks like some may now be sold or closed? Is that correct? I'll start with that and ask more as I go along.

Thanks,

Liz Brandt

Lovingkindness -- I have just spend the last couple of hours looking at the links you sent! They are wonderful -- Thank you so much. Liz
You're welcome! I was walking in Denmark this autumn past (2015) from Frederikshavn to Aarhus. The Haervejen trail is being extended in two directions linking Viborg to the ports of Hirtshals and Frederikshavn. Here's another link, scroll down a little to "5 years on".
