A group of us arrive in Santiago on holy Thursday (hopefully) after completing our Camino. We are wondering if the bars will be open on good Friday?

Thanks for the info

We were in Santiago on Good Friday 2015. All restaurants were open normally. Otherwise it was fabulous to see the Processions during the day. They go thru the city on 2 or 3 pm. And on 9 pm, if I remember correctly.

I'm looking forward to seeing the processions

Was in Spain on different Good Fridays( and Semana Santa ) throughout the years. Bars in abundance and they do serve alcohol.
Restos also serve meat.
Spain as a society secularised rapidly throughout the years.

Hello, I'm not doing the Camino (yet), so I don't know if this question fits in this forum... But I'm looking for advice and I think this is the best place. I'm planning a three or four days trip...
