Well I did it, I’m officially on the way though I don’t know when my circumstances will allow me to carry on. I’m happy at least to have started and am working out when and how I can get back on the road.

Conditions were terrible, very muddy right now and drizzly throughout but the joy I find walking is ever present.

Couldn’t have asked for a better start, managed to get a blessing at Canterbury that helped me on my way and got me home safe. Onto the next stage, may it come quicker than I deserve!

We'll be heading off from Canterbury on Easter Monday, just a week or so behind you. We;ve got our fingers crossed for better weather as taking that first step on the first morning can be a bit challenging if it is out into pelting rain! But it sounds like you took the rain & the mud in your stride and still had a great time. Good on you!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
