Walking to stay young
Time of past OR future Camino
Porto 2019
Looking for advice from experienced pilgrims, I will be walking my first Camino from Porto to Santiago - coastal route. I had planned to do it in mid-September but have had to delay my trip until the 8th October. Can anyone tell me if there will still be many Albergues open in the following two weeks?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

From what I've been seeing in my research, most albergues stay open through October. If your camino were to be pushed back to November you would have less choices, but also less competition, of course.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Many thanks Jill and David, looks like I should have no problem finding accommodation in October. Appreciate your help.

Hi Peter,
I have accommodations for pilgrims on the camino 1 km from Vila Nova da Cerveira. This is on the river Mino if you follow the way from Caminha to Valenca/Tui. The casa is listed on Google maps with directions but if you're on the traditional way which is well marked from Caminha you'll pass the front gate.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

A belated thanks to all who kindly offered advice. Due to family reasons, I had to postpone my Camino experience last year. I am on track for September / October 2019.
