Hi all, I recently saw a link for this route https://www.cimcavado.pt/caminhos-de-sao-bento-da-porta-aberta-no-cavado/ which goes from Fao on the Portuguese Coastal route after Porto to Barcelos on the Central route and then on to Braga and the start of the Camino Geira and the Via Mariana. The link I gave has a download for a guide. For people wanting to stay on the Coastal route a bit longer before swapping over to the Central route this is a good option, and for people wanting to have a little pre Camino Geira build up then this is another option as well.
