Buz! Good for you! I wish you a happy 4th!
Ah, Ms. Suzanne, a charter member of the 2015 Red Gaggle. I see your Happy Feet have been busy. Hope all is well. Where ever you are, what ever you are doing, be safe, keep having fun.

Many thanks. I agree, life is uncertain at any age, but when you are 76 as am I, even tomorrow is uncertain.
76 is still not old. If you are thinking you are old, then you are old. Be positive, I will be 82 when I do my next Camino next year - albeit a short one and will have my bag transported - but I will try not think of it as my last even though it is a strong possibility 🤣. Buen Camino and enjoy every day.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Hello! I am 77 and, with my 65 year young wife, am planning to start our third Camino in early October of this year. Not planning on it being our last, but who knows. We wish you all the best for your journey. (Plan “B” is to start next Spring if October doesn’t work out.) Remember, “life is what happens while you’re making plans!” Buen Camino!

Absolutely right. I showed this to my wonderful bride and she said that if I am still around when the counter reaches 82 I can go on another Camino! What a nice wife I have. Buen Camino on your next walk through beautiful Spain.

just watched a gentleman from Calgary who was 76 and his lady friend who was 86 do the Camino Frances, the whole 800 km. Here I was sweating doing my first this year at 63.
Yep DwainS...watched the same YouTube series...which I enjoyed so much. I thought they were both inspirational!

Yes...my wife and I watched the same YouTube series (Marc_of_the_trail). We thought they were both amazing...lots of energy and perseverance. Really enjoyed Marc's VLOGs.
