Hi! would arrive by train from Madrid at 23:22 at Ferrol station and from there heading to the parador ferrol (solo female traveler). Is taxi widely available? should i arrange the parador to send me a pickup taxi?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I would order a taxi beforehand.
First time I arrived in Ferrol it was 21.30 and there were still taxis at the front door.
Not sure about later at night so for your peace of mind do book a taxi.
Enjoy the Ingles!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
They said they don’t have transport and gave me number of radio taxi Ferrol instead
How standards have slipped; I’d have expected a parador to book a taxi for you.

It’s highly probable that there will be taxis waiting. If you want to reserve one you could call from the train when your 15 minutes away.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Make sense, thank you!!!

What's the best way to get to Ferrol? Is Madrid the best place to catch a bus, train or plane to the trail head?

Thx!

I've arrived at the station a couple of times during the mid-afternoon and there were only a couple of taxis waiting. Had to go next door to the bar to have them call, which they were nice enough to do. Bus station was worse, no taxis waiting there multiple times. But, as others have said, I texted the number to one of the taxi companies and someone arrived within a couple of minutes.

I'm taking an Iberia flight from Madrid to A Coruna, then taking the bus from A Coruna to Ferrol. There is a train that runs from Madrid to Ferrol, but its schedule doesn't work with mine.

Renfe direct Train from Madrid goes 2x a day on weekend, what’s bad is that renfe schedule is posted only a month or two ahead. I got a cheap train ticket for €25. However flight from Madrid to A Coruña can also be economical at about €35
