I'am not perfect, but I'm always myself!!!
Monastery "Sancti Spiritus" in Toro stopped accommodating pilgrims. Nuns said that they are only six and too old to do it anymore. The group of four pilgrims we met in Castronuño stayed at Pension Zamora on the main pedestrian street. 35€ for double and 40€ for twin room. I guess that's the cheapest you can get now in Toro. I checked Booking and everything else was booked on Saturday.

Came to Zamora yesterday with prebooked Hostal Sol because of the Labour day crowds. One of hospitaleras (Kathleen) in albergue said it was full on Saturday and that it will be too yesterday.
Hostal Sol has 40€ twin/double rooms, it's very centrally located (Hostal Chiqui in same building) and with everything you might need in perimeter of 50 meters: post office, Dia supermercado, Santander bank, very modern Tabacco store where you can top up your SIM card, sports store and cafeteria near the bank. Cafeteria is complete surprise. For one large beer (0,5l), one cafe con leche grande and two shots of orujo blanco I paid 5€ this afternoon :D

Buen Camino!

I have been making my plans to start the Levante in Valencia on 01 September ,all being well. All I have read points to an isolated experience where a reasonable command of Spanish is an asset...
