I am starting in SJPP. I usually carry my rucksack on pilgrimages but have had it couriered a few hilly days. It has been easy and has been beneficial as I get older. Does it work the same in France? I leave my rucksack with a label, it gets picked up and delivered to my next hostel. As simple as that?

That process is the standard for the Camino Frances. You're aware, I'm sure, that you are only walking half a day in France after which you'll be in Spain.

There are multiple companies that will move your bag for you. Your host for the night will advise.
