Hi all,
This January, I've walked to Fisterra and Muxía, and I'd like to share my discovery of a wonderful and very conveniently located brand-new albergue. It's particularly convenient, in my view, because it's located right on the Camino, 2 km after Corcubión, where the municipal albergue is temporarily closed, and most other accomodations are pretty expensive.
It's the Albergue San Pedro, it's wonderfully comfortable (they have real warm blankets!), it's equipped with a washing machine and a dryer (included in the price of stay) and a kitchenette. In addition, the lovely people who run it provide breakfast, again included in the price of stay.
Maybe the only downside is that the nearest bar is located 1.5 km from this albergue, but this bar offers a delivery service (I didn't try it, though).
The owners - a very nice family! - live in the same house, just above the albergue, so it's open all year round, but calling/texting ahead is a good idea.
