The blue and yellow covered multilingual Guia Practica a Santiago states on page 66 (outline) that there is no albergue in San Vicente de la Barquera, but on the next page it states correctly that there is one there at Calle Alta 4. It is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Lovely welcome, evening meal, spacious washing facilities, breakfast etc. €8 for bed and evening meal, with voluntary donation for breakfast.
At Colombres, the hospitalera (blue house on right) comes at about 7pm. If you arrive earlier, go to the left, down a slope, up the steps, take a bed, and be there for when she comes. €12 to sleep. A sign on the main door gives details of comprehensive meals etc., but none was available mid May. The bar about 100 metres further on, right side, provided large evening meals at very good price for other peregrinos who stayed there.
Between Colombres and Llanes, a lot of the camino is on a very busy and unpleasant road. Two other peregrinos took the coastal path (sendero costa E9) just at the end of Pendueles, and found it really pleasant, but with a demanding climb and descent before Llanes. If you miss the sign for the sendero costa, you will know you have gone too far if you go as far as a bridge with yellow arrows on the barriers at both sides of it. The small wooden sign for the E9 is on the right about 80 meters befor that bridge (over a railway I think). You could avoid about 9 km (feels like 20) of very unpleasant road walking in this way.
Page 80 of the Guia Practica shows an albergue at Pineres de Pria. Other peregrinos were informed at the tourist information office at Llanes that there is no alberge at Pineres d P. Can anybody confirm? There is a bar right on the side of the road at Pineres d P.
Page 80 also shows the albergue at San Esteban de Leces as being 2km from Ribadesella. In fact it is 5km. Excellent rooms (double) can be had for €19 at Ribadesella, Pension Arbidel, just behind Arbidel Restaurante on Calle Oscura 1.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
