After a frazzled trip and my flight being cancelled due to the weather in Chicago, I made it!
Lots more pilgrims than I’ve ever seen making the bus transfer from Pamplona to SJPP. The weather is cloudy but dry. I’m a happy peregrina. Waiting for the rest of my group. We head to SJPP on Saturday.

Safe and sound what's important. I get in Saturday as well to SJPP and start walking Sunday. Look forward to crossing paths. How big of a group will you have? Assume you won't be hard to miss if you have a large entourage.

Only 7 of us walking and not necessarily together. But watch for the Forum patch in my backpack. Buen Camino!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

is there a bus that travels directly from pamplona to sjpp now? I thought i had to take a train then a bus then a taxi, or some combination. Is my info outdated?

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
