Tui to Santiago 2017
Hi
I’m finishing my walk in Estella in September and need to fly out from Bilbao
It says there is a bus service on rome to Rio but when I click for tickets it says there are no buses ?? Information much appreciated

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
It is probably too early to buy a ticket yet. Try again about a month or 6 weeks out. Also the routes don't look that direct as of right now. You may have to go to Pamplona then San Sebastian and then Bilbao?
I use Google Maps to look at the different routes instead of Rome to Rio.

The bus station in Estella is in the Plaza Coronación. No direct bus. You get the bus to Logrono and change there.

There are two bus options in Logrono. A direct one and another where you have to change in Vitoria-Gasteiz. See Rome2Rio

There is a bus service from Estella to Logrono from where you can take a train to Bilbao. I travelled to Bilbao from Los Arcos using this route in September 2019.

I did this journey. Estella to Logroño by local bus. No need to pre purchase tickets.

Logrono to Bilbao by train. Tickets bought in advance.
