Hi, has anyone been through Puente Villarente recently and found anywhere open to stay? Or is ALL accommodation in that town closed in winter?

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Says to contact them in winter. Have you tried them?
Thanks, yes I’ve checked Gronze and saw that. I will contact them a day or two before if I need to. Just wondered if anyone has actually stayed in Puente Villarente in the last few weeks, or saw anywhere that is open (even a pensión). I’m planning a possible itinerary from Burgos to Astorga starting next week, not wanting to walk more than about 15kms per day. Tricky in winter. I’ll probably stay over in Reliegos, and not keen on 25kms next day into León, so hoping to stop in Puente.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
For anyone walking after me now - Puente Villarente is closed. Have just whatsappd them. So a long day (for me) from Reliegos to Leon, 25 kms.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
