None-will be first one.Want to do 100-150 km Camino in late November, 2019
All the abundant pilgrim infrastructure awaits for you on the official route which is Central from Lisbon to Porto. It goes via Santarem and Tomar. I walked there at the very end of Oct, out of season, there were between 2 and 9 people on the given day, so we even formed a Camino family and walked together most of the way. If you decide to go by the coast you most probably need a GPS as I wouldn't rely on the yellow arrows there. I enquired about Camino in Sintra when I was there 2 years ago, no one knew about it in the info centre although it seems to pass through town. Accommodation will be in the pensions and holstels as are no albergues there on the way. I walked 10 days Santaren - Porto + 9 days Porto-Santiago on the Central. If you have 2 weeks you could try starting in Coimbra or Agueda. Bom Caminho! :)
Hi. Is the Coastal route from Vigo onward pretty well marked ? Thanks.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Yes, the coastal all the way from Porto is well-marked, we walked without gadgets or internet there. Actually the only spot where we'd lost the way for a while was in Vigo coming from the alternative Freixo variant :)

Hi. I was wondering what you think of this itinerary, starting next week. I have decided that a realistic daily pace for me is 15-20 km max.
Tui-O'Porrino;O'Porrino-Redonela;redonela-Pontevedra;then join spiritual to Combarro; Combarro to Barrantes;Barrantes to Ponte Arnerlas; Ponte Arnelos - Padron; Padron-Teo;Teo-SDC
Appreciate your input!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The Central stages sound walkable there, though not sure about your Espiritual. I stayed there in the municipal albergues in Armenteira and Vilanova de Arousa, then we walked the last stage to Pontecesures. Most people take the boat there. Combarro sounds like a good stop, I liked the village. Your stage Ponte Arnalas - Padron makes me wonder if you meant Vilanova de Arousa there, and then Padron. Are you thinking about taking the boat from Valanova? It goes only to Pontecesures, that's 4 km before Padron. There is a great municipal albergue in Pontecesures, possible to stop there as well.

Thank you. Could I ask when you say not sure about the Espiritual do you mean the difficulty of the walking.?
I just meat your stages/accommodation there in a low season as I walked different ones. Espiritual is not difficult, there is a gradual rise Pontevedra and then a sharp hill after Combarro if I remember right.

Thank you so much. Your posts bare always so informative. One other question if I may. 3 days from leaving to start my Camino and I am wondering if I made the right choice with my route above Chose it because I prefer less people and b I prefer forest and water surrounding. But I’m wondering now if Sarria is a better choice.? What can I expect ?
Thanks!!

Yes, it is marked well. It was hard to get out from Vigo, but then we found out people with socks on backpacks and yellow arrows.
