Has anyone on el norte, coastal route, done remote work a few days/a week while walking? Are there internet cafes, or Kinkos-type rent an office space/computer, in Bilbao, Santander, bigger cities? How about albergues or cheap places renting a laptop/office to you? I'm walking seaside - Laredo to Ribedeo. If any exper. on this, thnks. And cheers.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I did, but with my own laptop. Now if you need to get your hands on a computer, then no - albergues won't be very helpful for that. But in the cities, I think you should be able to find coworking spaces that will give you computer access.

If you give some more details about what you'd be doing on the computer and how frequently you'd need to do it, I might have some more ideas.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

This is a question best put to the local Turismo along your route. They will know what services are available in their localities.

Most public libraries still have computers available for public use. You are likely to find them aged, cranky, slow and, of course, fitted with a Spanish language key-board. Took me an hour to find the "@" key on one well worn deck.

The suggestion to find a suitably business oriented hotel is a good one. Perhaps you could charge it to expenses....
