Norte - 2016/2017
Hello,
I'm a solo traveler starting in Bilboa on the 23 May 2017 and was wondering if there are any others who will be on the route at the same time in the same area?

Looking to meet singles or groups to travel with for a time and just to get ahead start on who I will be sharing the Camino with.

Would love to hear from those that will be around.

Starting to get excited for the trip!

Hi Kelster,
I will starting from Irun on the 25 May, Are you doing Camino del Norte ? Where you from ? I am originally from Perth but we have moved to Melbourne

I'm Melbourne and walking the Camino del Norte. But may be a week in front of you as I am starting in Bilboa.

Depending on how fast you are walking we may pass each other. Look out for the Bombers cap!

Flying out with Qatar on the 21st.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I am happy to see this question! I am starting on the Camino Frances on May 18 and will likely head up to Irun or San Sebastian to walk el Norte (crossing the Pyrenees is on my bucket list!)...I could very well cross paths with both of you!

Have either of you walked el Frances?

It's getting closer!

Buen Camino,
Sue

Hello Sue, We may well be passing each other... Timing appears correct. I keep a look out for you.

Hello Laura,

I will be a day or 2 behind, but should catch up with you some where, planning to walk further than the guides daily, unless a nice beach calls somewhere :)

Are you traveling alone? Should see you prior to Gijon! Good Luck... Buen camino mi amigo!

I may decide to stay on the Frances and stay in the inbetween places. The Norte is more expensive and I am on a budget.

It will be my Camino however it unfolds and I embrace that...

Buena suerte and camino,
Sue

Hello Kelster,
Yes, I'm travelling alone. And I'm tending to cover less than the guides suppose for each day, as I am not an experienced hiker at all. So we will probably meet somewhere.)
Buen camino!

You all are going to be about year ahead of me. We're planning to start in San Sebastian next year...June 1 or so. Please share your experiences!

Hi Kelster-

I will be starting from Irun on May 18th so unless you are a slow walker or take rest days I will likely be a couple of days behind you.
