Anyone planning to walk the Portuguese Route late December into early January 2022/2023? I don't see those months posted on the start day calendar.

I’m planning the CP central for the first half of December, not as the usual point to point Camino but to visit Templar sites, mostly from Santarem to Coimbra with side trip, by bus I think, to Sintra, Soirée and Pombol.

Thanks for the nudge! We try to keep 6 months of Calendars running at any time. Since nobody has signed up for November yet, we got a bit lazy. :)

A December thread is now posted here. If you post a tentative date and then want to change it, just post again on the thread, telling us the old date and the new one, and we can update the list.

I am THINKING about walking the central Portuguese Route starting December 28th, starting from Porto. It's not my first choice of times to walk, but I'm at the mercy of my work schedule. Anyone else thinking of walking during this less-than-ideal time? I did the Camino Frances from SJPP this spring, so I'm not a total Camino newbie, but any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michelle. I've no experience of the Portuguese at that time of year but I did walk a section of the Frances in early January one year. It was fine. The weather was crisp and cold. There were other pilgrims walking. Sorry I can't be more helpful about the Portuguese.
