The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I'll be 18 days behind you on the Frances.
I'm hoping for some 'Kind?' weather.

I am leaving Pamplona, due west on 22nd of January. I am also hoping for the weather condition. I am not sure what to expect, as far as weather goes, as I am a first time visitng the area. I am preparing for the worst; snow, ice, rain and wind.

Enjoy. I have walked the Frances in the summer from SJPD. I have also walked from Samos to Santiago in January and thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Looking forward to a longer winter walk! When do you anticipate being in Santiago?

Don't know, when I will be arriving Santiago. May be in 30 days, starting 1/22. Actually, I like winter walk better than summer. Only problem is accumulated snow on top of ice patch.

I leave from Santander 10 February and plan to arrive in Santiago around 27 February or 28 February. Buen Camino!

I am planning to walk the Primitivo starting March 5th or 6th pending some kind of decent weather. I have no problem with rain only, freezing rain or snow would cause me maybe to change routes. I do not want to be a burden on locals. If you could I would like to hear from you on your progress and conditions along the Primitivo. Joe

Suggest you bring layered types of clothing...winds can get quite high and seems to be in ones face a lot. Make sure you have system to protect yourself from rain and snow. We left Pamplona the last week and of February 2018 and went west...when we arrived in Santiago at the beginning of April...we only had experienced 3 compleletly dry days. Nevertheless we had a great trip partly because we had clothing that worked for the weather.

I'm walking from Sarria on the 17th of February, my first camino and I'm very excited / nervous... Hoping I won't have to swim to Santiago!

No you won’t have to swim but be prepared for rain. It rains a lot that time of year. I did that same walk my first Camino in March weather was actually great sunny and warm.

Be careful, don't walk the hospitales route if it's snowing, the yellow arrows are not visible.

I would recommend gortex lined boots, waterproof over trousers as well as a wooden staff or walking poles.
