Hello. Due to reach SJPDP in about ten days. Any problems at the border and any shortage of accommodation. Problems in France as most municipal gîtes are closed...
Hi @filly
I’m too far away to be any help to you.
very envious though -
From what I’ve read of others lucky enough to be on the way during this time - there appears to be accommodation options one way or the other at the moment.
stay safe and respectful .
- you should be okay.
Unsurprising as not only is it now the tourist off-season, but tourists have been very thin on the ground this year for the obvious reason, so that many touristy businesses etc. having no local patronage to rely on have kept shut.
Municipal gîtes are generally closed due to Covid concerns. A fair proportion of private accommodation is closed where owners are fearful. Some places only take one ‘party’ of people so best to group up and book together. At Limoges the Sisters only allocated the rooms on every other day. As a result I have resorted to booking.com for instance in Bergerac and Sainte Foy La Grande. Due to reach SJPDP in ten days. Any Spanish info most welcome...

Now it's done, and I'm showered, fed and generally numbed with alcohol, it was great. Fortunately, the weather was cool all day, the rain held off and the terrain was rolling countryside.

Hello;
I started my camino on May 15th, today husband and I walked from Roncesvalles to Zubiri. I did the Camino in 2019 and the path from alto erro to Zubiri has eroded and is more hazardous...
We all know there are a lot of bikers on the shared Camino path. I was knocked over in the town of Villatuerta and had to return immediately to the US for treatment after destroying my Camino on...
I've been reading about the different routes etc and I have seen that the longest route is over a month, but also that some people just walk for a weekend or a few days or a week.
I want to do a...
