Hi,
We lost our guidebook today 😢
Are there any shops along the route where you can pick one up?
We’re in Najera now so it has to be from that point onwards.
We have the Michelin guide and various apps, but the Brierly guide is great for background and history.
Thanks,
Wayne

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Sorry to learn of your lost guidebook. Perhaps a shop that specializes in hiking/camino equipment might be your best source.
The next large city is Santo Domingo de la Calzada. This shop might include guidebooks.

Planeta Aqua
C / Mayor 36
26250 Santo Domingo de La Calzada
Phone 941 34 12 19

Try Google for a list of other such shops.

There is always the possibility that a copy of the guide might be left in an albergue donation box.

Good luck with your search and Buen camino.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Or you could get the e-book version.
I'm a paper person myself so understand wanting a hard copy to hold in your hands but under the circumstances, the downloadable version may be a solution.
Happy trails.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

And another attempt looms, to buy a decent Poncho after trying and failing in the previous two likely towns. Anyone know where an Altos or similar might be bought in Leon, please? 😁
