This Trio looks suspiciously like the ones I met just as you come down onto the road to reach Molinaseca.
Donkeys name is Maria.(checking my pictures that's them)

I met them again In Santiago after finishing the fisterra route.they were heading back out towards Monte Gozo. I saw then on my way to the airport.

A Camino celebrity!
I met him at San Anton where he happily shared his "bota" of wine.

There are lots of compromises and sacrifices one would have to make, to walk the Camino with a donkey and a dog. But I think it might be worth it! I'd rather spend time with a donkey and a dog than with 97% of the people I know.
