April 2 Villafranca to San Juan Ortega

A lovely walk but I was glad to arrive at the monastery. Mmmm garlic soup and bread.

That hill behind our pilgrims is almost a 1 km straight down (around 18 or 22% or 1 in 5 to 1 in 4 slope). I tried to ride down it but stopped after 100 metres, I felt I was about to hit the front wheel with my nose!!
