@Robo , I think it's a bottle of Orujo de Hierbas (although a hospitalero wrote it out for me as "Hiervas"). It's a pomace brandy flavored with a variety of herbs -- it's a Galician (perhaps all of Spain) tradition. I enjoyed it very much....and sampled chocolate and coffee flavors, too.
 
The perfect size serving for this drink, one sip or two is a reasonably limit. Otherwise, you will not be walking very far the next morning.
