Foncebadón (as seen in the film Six Ways to Santiago)

I watched the film SIx ways to Santiago before and after my own Camino. Watching it afterwards was great looking for places I recognised and had been through only a few weeks earlier. If only I could find where I put the DVD for The Way!

I also stayed here with two Danish guys. They wash your your clothes and meal and breakfast were great. I enjoyed this place because it was a restful tranquil place which is needed at the end of a day.

As I understand it 10-15 years ago this village was virtually uninhabited (maybe one to two residents) with most of the original buildings (not these?) unlivable. More changes accredited to the Camino Frances popularity!

@Saint Mike II from what I can remember the building to the right is a restaurant with a grand view had a snack there.
