Old Roman Road & Bridge after Cirauqui

Yes, we stopped to have a look, but then got back on the road. I agree it's easy to find yourself going down a slip road that leads to a motorway, and you have to be aware that this could all too easily happen. What we did find is that the N roads, if there was a motorway nearby, were always pretty empty of other traffic .
 
I love that bridge! Real Roman and still standing - I last went over that with my two wheel trailer, no problems at all as I remember ... just after dawn, beautiful!

I believe there is even now an access for bikers, both down to the bridge and up from the bridge, though it's still a bit tricky for a bike, I'm afraid...
