Over the fields on the way into Santo Domingo

A pale version of the real thing. I have never ever seen a rainbow so large and so bright, with each band so distinct. There had been no rain recently, so it was surprising to see such a big, beautiful rainbow that afternoon--and it was a special treat because it happened on my very favourite stretch of the CF.
