Arrived in cizur menor! Being on my third day even with my blisters i feel happy and blessed for being able to walk the camino!!!!let the journey continue!!!!

Angeliki, Pamplona is a nightmare during San Fermin so you probably can't go back, but you need to get those blisters fixed. Madam Roncal is a good soul - if you are staying there let her know. If the skin is staying intact over the blisters you may be OK but once they break and the skin starts pealing off it can be real trouble. Don't try to make Punta la Reina in one day - Uterga is quite far enough. Work out what is causing the problem if you can. Try walking in sandals for a while. I'd also stop at the first Farmacia (probably not until Punta) and get some professional help.

PS - read the threads on blister treatment. While the skin is still intact I use a clean needle (wipe with disinfectant) to pierce the blister and release the liquid inside - sometimes there will be several pockets that need popping. This relieves the pressure so the skin stays intact instead of tearing. It brings pain relief but more importantly allows the blister to heal underneath the intact skin. You need to do this every night until there is no more pain - but the critical thing is to keep the skin intact.
Better still - try to prevent blisters to start with - stop when you feel a hot spot - take off your shoes and socks, air your feet, change shoes, shoe inserts, socks, pad the area with tape, lambs wool, panty liners - whatever works!

Angel, listen to all the advice. I'm not far ahead of you and the only advice I would give is dont overdo it the first week. Set realistic distances however excited you feel... and if you walk with some fellow caminotti listen to your feet not them on how much further to push yourself.
You are in for some incredibly beautiful things to see and happen to you...

How is it going? Blisters can slow you down, but take care of them or they can stop you. Buen camino.

Blisters are getting better)) just reached monjardin......checked in a wonderful albergue with wonderful view......i am feeling so good and happy! Buen camino to everyone!!!!

Don't worry. The feeling lasts a long time, long after the blisters are gone.

Paint the blister site with tincture of benzoin, a liquid skin adhesive, then put you covering of choice on. Will not wash or sweat off. The benzoin will sting when applied to fresh skin but will toughen the skin too. Kept my Marines on their feet on the field.
