Time of past OR future Camino
Hoping to go in April (2014)
Now planning flight and getting a bit bamboozled. I am intending to fly from Barcelona to Paris for flight back to Oz. Sadly most go into Orly and I don't want to risk being late. I can get a flight to CDG which gets in about an hour before my flight leaves for Perth. that is not a time frame I want to chance. so I thought maybe it would be better to get a late flight from Barcelona around 8pm into CDG and stay the night close to the airport in order to get my flight (which leaves at 1.15pm). so does anyone here know of a reasonable place I could stay near the airport, or withing easy travelling distance, given that the time of my flight to Perth would give me some leeway in terms of getting there in plenty of time.
thanks in advance.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
In transit from CDG to Indre or vice versa,I always stay at the Premier Classe Roissy Hotel, free shuttle CDG to the hotel, it sometimes gets a lousy review, sometimes I get a room for 28 euro ,can't complain for that price, it's clean ,beds are comfy, also quiet. If you do stay around Roissy, and have got the time, checkout Roissy village,it is a delight..................Vicrev

That sound good enough for me. I read some reviews but for goodness sake! I am staying in a bunk bed situation next month, and I bet it is worse than this. No breaky thrown in either!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
There is one at Expositions which is one RER train stop from CDG, Kyriad Hotel, I stayed there a couple of times, that was around 35euros & ok , the earlier you book in France the cheaper the deals(works for me)..........Vicrev

Check out booking.com and select CDG, I land late into Paris end of Oct and have 2 nights there, but have been looking at airport hotels for the 1st night. They were coming up about €38-50

Thanks for above info, I'll need it for my trip via Paris to walk my Camino
