Is there anyone hiking from Almeria at present and if there is, how are conditions in the mountains after last month's snow and rains? Are any diversions required currently for river crossings? I shall start walking on 21 March.

I and 4 others are starting walking on 31 March. I look forward to any updates on current conditions. The long range weather forecast is for cool conditions.

I shall be writing on this medium during my hike and will report on any issues arising from weather and associated conditions.

Hi, Marianne, Just wondering how you found the walk. There are about five forum members planning to get started in Almería next April and we always appreciate updates and recommendations. Many thanks, Laurie
