Time of past OR future Camino
2011 Camino Frances
Since 2011 - too many to list
It has been 3 years now since I walked the Camino Frances and this morning the Camino entered my thoughts, as it normally does. Over time it has become clear how important the Camino has been in my life, it has been a real milestone. It was a special time to meet "friends" from different countries and backgrounds. It was a real "time out" for me, allowing me to reflect on my previous 57 years, to give an honest account of my beliefs and values, and to give "time" to past and present family and friends and life's situations. That "time out and reflection" has been such a mental relief it transformed to a physical relief. I understand now the Camino was a turning point in my life, not an abrupt overnight change but kind of a gradual clarity and refocus of direction. I feel so fortunate to have found such a place.

I have been back to the Camino the last two years and am again heading back for some more "indulgence" this year. Big hug my camino family!
